LBRCA Special News: 8 May 2017 | $8.3 Million in Funding Announced to Upgrade Bucketts Way
The Livestock, Bulk and Rural Carriers Association (LBRCA) welcomes the news today of State Government support for the upgrade of Bucketts Way with $8.3 million being dedicated to this project.
NSW Roads Minister Melinda Pavey joined Member for Upper Hunter Michael Johnsen at Limeburners Creek, near Weismantels Road and Craven Flat, to make the announcement.
LBRCA Past President Jock Carter was in attendance to congratulate the government for their ongoing commitment to improve the regional road freight network in NSW.
“The LBRCA has supported council and the local community in developing and seeking funding for this important upgrade” said Jock.
“This project is an example of what can be achieved when community, government and industry work together to achieve a better outcome for NSW businesses and communities, which are reliant on efficient and safe road freight services”
