What are we working on now:

  • Lobbying the NSW Government to introduce a low volume heavy vehicle access model
  • Lobbying the NSW Government to reduce misuse of primary producer registration concession in NSW
  • Working to protect members against the introduction of non-safety related heavy vehicle technology including the Intelligent Access Program (IAP)
  • Working to ensure that EWD compliance and policy is suitable and viable for industry.
  • Lobbying the NSW Government to introduce a stamp duty exemption for new prime movers
  • Lobbying the NSW Government to improve the heavy vehicle registration transfer process in NSW
  • Lobbying the NSW and Federal Governments to work for better roads and more truck rest area capacity
  • Lobbying to all sides of government to improve the operating environment for heavy vehicle operators in rural and regional NSW.
